About Lou Hutchinson
Louis Hutchinson, IV is an NCAA Division 1 college basketball player and shooting guard at Alabama A&M University. His basketball IQ, shooting, athleticism, two-way versatility, toughness, work ethic, character and leadership are elite. He played point guard through his junior year on IMG Academy’s National Team, the #2 team in the country in high school. Lou’s game progressed significantly at IMG before going to Long Island Lutheran (LuHi) his senior year to be a Team Captain, and to become the #1 shooting guard in the State of NY, leading LuHi back to a National Top 10 ranking. Lou was also a McDonalds All American Game nominee.

For 2024-2025, Lou played for Coach Donte Jackson at Grambling State University. When Coach Jackson resigned unexpectedly at the end of the season, Lou then followed Coach Jackson to Alabama A&M for his junior season.
Lou credits Coach Jackson for pushing him and challenging him to achieve his potential -- to get to the next level-- the NBA.
